Do my files leave this device?

Not by default. Sealed documents live in this browser’s private storage. A network request is made only if you buy lifetime membership or send a backup you already sealed.

Who runs locallock.app?

FULLFORCE LTD, company number 14751157, registered office 2nd Floor, College House, 17 King Edwards Road, Ruislip, London, HA4 7AE, United Kingdom.

What happens after the trial?

Pro is included for 14 days. After that, Free stays: 8 documents, 20 MB each, one at a time. Folders, batch sealing, backup, PIN, and device unlock need a one-time $29 lifetime membership. It does not renew. Documents already sealed still open.

What if I forget the password?

FULLFORCE LTD cannot reset a vault. The emergency code created with the vault is the only recovery. Keep it outside this browser.

Is a PIN as strong as a password?

No. A short PIN is easier to guess if someone copies the vault storage. Use a long password as the real key. Treat the PIN as a shortcut on a device you control.

Can I open a sealed file on another computer?

Yes. Download a .llock copy and open it in locallock.app with the export password. The filename sits inside the ciphertext.

Where is membership stored?

Stripe takes the one-time card payment. After checkout, this browser stores that lifetime membership is paid. There is no account to sign in on another device. A new browser starts its own trial.

How does Windows Hello fit in?

locallock.app is a local web vault, not a Windows installer. Edge and Chrome can use Windows Hello where the browser allows it. If that is missing, the password still opens the vault.
